Throw enough money at Americans and they can ignore state-sponsored terrorism, brutal repression of women and girls, and murder, just as easily as anybody.
Sort of like today, when the PGA Tour accepted sufficient billions from Saudi Arabia to execute a screaming-tire U-turn and merge its acronym with LIV Golf.
Yay, America.
The DP World Tour is getting in on the booty, and unconfirmed reports suggest the BPOE, VFW, WCA* and LSMFT** are all cut in, too. The wildest speculation surrounds the deal ostensibly struck by the Hooters Tour, even if it might or might not be defunct under that name and never used an acronym anyway.
It appears the only international organization of any stature left out of the merger is the 3GA Tour, which offers the third event of its 2023 season this weekend at The Golf Club at Hawks Prairie. It’s disappointing. We could have used the money.
